It’s supposed to be summer but it feels a lot like fall. There’s a lot of beauty in fall but I’m not ready for it before it’s time.

This place has its own look, its own vibes. From the vibtage cups to the mid-centry furnature, it is a place she calls home. Most years I feel lonely here. I see the charm, but feel miles away from the world. This year has been different. Its been inspiring with its moody light.

With gray skies and a wet ground Košice still had a unique, but moody atmosphere. January just ended and spring still a few months away.

We have a few weeks left in our spa town Piestany before we move to Bratislava. Sunday was a good day to show my mom our town in the summer. It really is such a beautiful place!

Summer has many colors, but pastel pink is one of my absolute favorite. Pastel pink is a gentle color which looks like grace.

When a Tueaday feels like a Monday.

It’s the end of Februaury and almost the start of March. Durning this time one longs for the spings of spring, but instead the snow comes 2 months after you stop wishing for it. This is winter ‘17/‘18 in Slovakia.

The family summer cottage in Slovakia is a place where we all cone together. Some of us travel from Italy, some used to come from America and the rest of us from corners of Slovakia. It a place where cousins reconnect and play putdoors. A place where games get pulled out along with treats once the kids go to sleep. Its a place of memories and country slow living, a place you want to remember and come back to.

It's in the air

Today was a typical Seattle day weather wise. Before we moved to Slovakia and before we spent a year traveling America I had to learn to love Seattle weather. Now I can appreciate a beautiful dreary day.

I am always saying that in order for one to be a good wife and mother, she first needs to care for herself. To me, its giving my morning to God first and then the rest follows.
